Privacy
How this website and the Munner app handle your data. Effective 19 August 2026.
This website
munner.pro is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no advertising, and does not attempt to identify you. It collects privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics — page views, referrers and performance timings — which are not tied to a cookie or a profile and cannot be used to identify an individual visitor. Fonts and all other assets are served from this domain, so loading a page here does not report your visit to a third party.
The app
app.munner.pro is a separate application with an account. The rest of this policy describes it.
What it collects
- Account details: email address and password. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
- Profile: name, username, city, date of birth, avatar and anything else you choose to add.
- MUN records: conferences attended, committees, allotments and awards, whether issued by an organiser or entered by you.
- Registration data: allotment preferences, your CNIC or B-Form number, and payment proof, for each conference you register for.
- Activity: posts, reactions, follows and notification preferences.
- Technical data: error reports and diagnostics used to keep the service working.
CNICs
Your CNIC is encrypted at rest. It can be decrypted only by the organising committee of the conference you registered for. Other users, including organisers of other conferences, cannot read it. Every view is written to an audit log.
Payment uploads
Payment screenshots are kept in restricted storage and served only through signed links that expire after five minutes, issued to the legitimate organiser. Munner does not process payments and does not hold your money.
Who can see what
Public profiles are visible to anyone. Private profiles require an approved follow request before posts, achievements and registrations are visible. Blocks are enforced on the server in both directions. Access is filtered at the database level before data leaves it.
Deleting your account
You can request deletion from Settings. A thirty-day grace period lets you reverse it. After that, personal data is permanently removed by an automated job. Records tied to paid registrations are anonymised rather than deleted, so organisers retain a compliance trail without retaining your identity.
Age
Munner is used by school students, including minors. If you are under 18, please use it with the knowledge of a parent, guardian or teacher. If you believe a child's data is on Munner and should not be, contact us and we will remove it.
Sharing
Munner does not sell personal data. Data is shared only with the organising committee of a conference you registered for, and with the infrastructure providers needed to run the service — hosting, database and error reporting — under their own terms.
