Is Model UN part of the United Nations?
No. Model United Nations is an independent educational activity run by schools, universities and student societies. No MUN conference is official, and Munner is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by the United Nations either.
Is Munner free?
Yes, for everyone. Delegates pay nothing and organising committees pay nothing. Munner does not charge a listing fee and does not take a commission on registration fees, because it does not handle registration payments at all.
What MUNs are happening in Karachi right now?
The register keeps a dated list of every Karachi conference it knows about, including ones that have nothing to do with Munner, with registration windows and sources for each entry.
Why does registration ask for a CNIC?
Conferences collect CNIC or B-Form numbers to confirm delegates are who they say they are. On Munner a CNIC is encrypted at rest and can be decrypted only by the organising committee of the conference you registered for, with every view written to an audit log.
Does Munner take my registration fee?
No. You pay the conference directly, exactly as you would otherwise. Munner carries your payment proof to the organiser and records the outcome; it never holds your money.
What does a verified achievement mean?
It means the organising committee of that conference issued the record through Munner, tied to an approved conference. Delegates cannot create or edit a verified record. Anything a delegate enters themselves is shown as self-reported and never as verified.
Can I record MUNs I attended before joining Munner?
Yes. Those are added as self-reported entries and are clearly labelled as such. Your record starts the day you join, and nothing about the earlier ones is hidden or discounted.
Is Munner only in Karachi?
Karachi is where Munner runs today — every listed conference and every delegate. Other Pakistani cities are next.
How do I get my conference listed?
Email musbahrashid12@gmail.com with the conference name, dates, venue and organising body. Conferences are reviewed before listing so that delegates handing over identity documents know a real organising body is on the other end.
How do I delete my account?
From Settings. There is a thirty-day grace period in which you can reverse it, after which personal data is permanently removed automatically. Records tied to paid registrations are anonymised rather than deleted so organisers keep a compliance trail.
